Meet Dr. Erica Ford, FAGD

Dr. Erica Ford earned her dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Honors Biology from American University in Washington D.C. She earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2022, where she completed of 500 hours of continuing education, took a fellowship exam, and attended the AGD Conference in Orlando , Florida.

In 2018, Dr. Ford was a nominee for the prestigious "10 Under 10" award by the American Dental Association (ADA), which recognizes dentists across America who have made an impact on the profession in areas such as practice excellence, philanthropy, and leadership.

Dr. Ford grew up in Montgomery County. While in dental school, she went on a mission trip to Jamaica to volunteer dental services to the underserved rural population. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency program at Northwell Health Hospital in New York City. Dr. Ford stays up-to-date with the latest Continuing Education courses and she provides family dentistry in the Germantown MD area.

When she isn’t working on patients’ smiles, she enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending time with family.
