Born and raised in Montgomery County, MD, Dr. Ford has always wanted to be in dentistry. It started out when she was a little girl and wore a white coat as part of her costume. Since then she knew exactly what she wanted to do.
When she isn’t working on patients’ smiles, she enjoys running, playing tennis and pickleball, hanging out with her dog, Flynn, and spending time with family.

Dr. Ford earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.
Following dental school, she pursued her General Practice Residency with Northwell Health Hospital in New York City.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Honors Biology from American University in Washington D.C.
While in dental school, she went on a mission trip to Jamaica to volunteer dental services to the underserved rural population.
She also participates in elementary school career days, where she talks about being a dentist and the importance of dental care for students.
Dr. Ford values education and likes giving back to the community that educated her. She partners with Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) to coordinate an full-year internship, and the University of Maryland (UMD) to sponsor a summer dental practicum program.
She has also worked with Fortis College to sponsor externships for their Dental Assisting Program.
In 2018, Dr. Ford was a nominee for the prestigious "10 Under 10" award by the American Dental Association (ADA), which recognizes dentists across America who have made an impact on the profession in areas such as practice excellence, philanthropy, and leadership.
In 2024, Dr. Ford was nominated for the Incisal Edge "40 Under 40" Award. This award recognizes US-based dentists that are under 40 years old that utilize innovative ideas and technology and give back to their community
Since then, she earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2022, where she completed of 500 hours of continuing education, took a fellowship exam, and attended the AGD Conference in Orlando , Florida (pictured here).
